VILAMOURA APARTMENT

This is the apartment block of Mar Bel Sol. It has its own pool and pool bar, as all the blocks do. Its great for all the family, wheather having fun by the pool or just wanting to relax. The pool bar is run by husband and wife Jeorge and Monica and not forgetting the talented Miguel. Mar Bel Sol is approx a 15 min flat walk from the very popular beach Praia de Falesia. Or you could also catch the mini train/tourist bus which passes the apartment every 20 mins.
The pool at the apartment is great to relax by in the evening after a day at the beach and the kids still have time to burn of some of that energy by having a good splash and meet some new friends while the big kids enjoy some good food and some Portuguese wine
Left and right are pictures of the beautiful beach Praia de Marinha. We found it by accident and have enjoyed many long peaceful days laying in the sun. Not many people know about it so its great if you want somewhere quite and secluded. The views from the mountain walk are stunning. Theres a bit of a walk to the beach but theres a very good beach bar that serves food and drink so you can spend a few hours in what seems like heaven!
This is one of the many quaint Portuguese churches that you will have the pleasure of visiting. This particular one can be found in the town or Alvor not far from Pria de Luz
This is the fantastic Moorish Castle at Silves . It is made from red sandstone and is built on one of the largest underground aquifers in southern Portugal. It has a few Art and Craft shops a few cafes and lovely walks. It really is worth while seeing!
